A type of trade in which products and services are exchanged for other products and services.
The amounts of cash being received and spent by a business during a defined period of time.
A printed publication similar to the Yellow Pages that lists all member businesses highlighting their business description, contact details, location and other information. This printed Directory is distributed to all BarterXchnage members.
Products & Services
Physical or non-material products of value, available to be sold in the marketplace.
The entity that operates the BarterXchange System within a particular country.
Line of Credit
A type of credit in BarterXchange trade credits in which BarterXchange undertakes to provide to a member during a predefined period.
A business or individual that has subscribed for membership to the BarterXchange Trading Program in order to exchange its goods and/or services with other members within the BarterXchange Trading Program. This is irrespective of the country of origin.
Barter Trade Credits
An accounting unit (notionally equivalent to one Singapore Dollar) used to record the value of goods and services traded. Trade Credits are not legal tender, securities, debentures or commodities.
A company which operates a barter trading program, acting as a third-party record keeper of trade transactions amongst members, and directs members to each other for the purpose of facilitating trade transactions.
A calculation of total Bartercard sales and purchases in Trade Credits.
A transaction conducted between members involving the sale and purchase of goods or services, which is recorded by those members in accordance with the Trade Exchange’s rules and regulations.
The BarterXchange Trading Program that enables members to trade with each other using the BarterXchange System.
A change in the status of the finances of two or more businesses or individuals.
